Is Your Home Compliant?
From 1 January 2027, every home in Queensland will be legally required to have compliant smoke alarms installed. The deadline has been in place for some time, but for most owner-occupiers, it hasn’t required any action until now.
We’re expecting high demand as the deadline approaches, so booking now means you avoid both the rush and the price increase.
The requirements are specific. Homes need photoelectric alarms that are interconnected throughout the property, fitted in every bedroom, in hallways connecting bedrooms to the rest of the home, and on every storey.
